art

There's a lot to see here.  The Art section of my website includes many different portfolios of my work, plus my photo blog, which includes whatever happened to be on my mind from a photographic perspective - equipment reviews, places to photograph, techniques and lots more. The "Shows" page includes  information about past and upcoming shows and art fairs where you may have seen my images or can plan to see them in the future.  To view the portfolios, click on art at the top of the page and pick a portfolio to explore.

The rest is of this section is full of images for you to enjoy.  Each image page shows all the images in that series.  Some series span many years, like the Botanica Portfolio, which I worked on almost exclusively for three years.

Other series are images made in a place, like the Egypt or South Africa Portfolios.  Others contain images grouped by subject matter, like Landscapes or Seascapes.  If you click on an image, it will bring it up full size.

For information about my photographic background, my techniques and the equipment I use, go the About Me page of the Photography section. If you have questions about any of the images, how they were made or if you want to purchase an image, there's information about how to reach me on the Contact page.

Most of the images on this website are available for purchase.  However, all images are limited editions and I am sold out of some.

I do not have standard sizes.  However, images are generally available in sizes ranging from approximately 12 x 18 inches to 4 x 6 feet.  It will depend on how the image was originally captured.  The images created withe medium and large format cameras print beautifully at very large sizes.  The images that were originally created on 35mm film or digital cameras print well up to about 24 x 36 inches.  But, rarely bigger than that.

Pricing varies, depending on the image, its printed size and how you want it printed.  Minimum prices will be about $100.  You should expect to pay in the range of $500 for a 24 x 36 inch print.

The images are printed on media suited to the image.  For example, I print the black and white images on 100% cotton rag paper.  The Botanica images are all printed on canvas.  The canvas can either be stretched and gallery wrapped or archivally attached to a rigid substrate and then conventionally framed. I'll be happy to work with you so that the image can be presented in a way you're most happy with.  E-mail me if you have questions.
